We created stained glass windows and our own version of the Sistine Chapel ceiling
We started off with drawing portraits of our classmates and then creating our own portraits (nearly life size) While learning about the Renaissance and how it renewed people's interest in architecture. The children sketched buildings that were similar to those of the Hellenistic period and those recreated by Michelangelo during the Renaissance. Materials used: chalk and coloured paper. |
